Car history: |
This 1969 corvette 6 speed is for cruising in the fast lane. The engine was built by me using a 383 general motors perfomance parts 383 roller block, it makes easy 440hp and 460tq. It will cruise at 100mph@ 3500 rpm because of the richmond 6speed transmission. The car has never been raced and very little around town driving. For the past 11 years Ive owned it, It has been driven exclusively on the interstate, 110K miles worth. It now has 8K on the fresh roller block engine. I used a l88 hood in order to fit the new engine in, and I have the original 69 hood, that goes with it. Ive always considered the car a "top driver" and restored it accordingly. A New electric spal fan aluminum radiator easily cools the engine in all conditions and rpms. Its always garaged when off the road so Cosmetically its fine except for inevitable rock chips. The paint is 14yrs old but still looks fine. I'm giving up the corvette game, retired and got to old for it so, if your interested in a corvette that does it all, please look at mine, its been a absolute head turner in town and on the freeways for many years. $35,000. February 18, 2012. |
